Bob Huggins, the all-time winningest head coach in Cincinnati basketball history, will soon be a Bearcat Hall of Famer. Huggins, who led UC to 14 NCAA tournaments in his 16 years in Clifton, will be inducted into the school’s 50th James P. Kelly Athletics Hall of Fame class.
Huggins’ Legacy
A 2022 inductee into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Huggins led UC to 399 wins from 1989 to 2005. The Bearcats made the 1992 Final Four under Huggins, kicking off a run of 14-straight NCAA tournament appearances.
Huggins will officially be inducted on Oct. 23, the night before Cincinnati’s homecoming football game against Texas Tech.
