Scoop and Score Ice Cream Celebrates 10 Years

Scoop and Score Ice Cream in Cedar Park is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The business, which opened in 2016, serves sweet treats including Graeter’s ice cream and Cuvée Coffee-based drinks.

Respecting the Craft

The couple behind Scoop and Score, Alex and Angela Ellis, began the business while Angela was pregnant and craved Graeter’s ice cream, a classic style of ice cream from her home state of Ohio.

After reaching out to Graeter’s, the couple opened up Scoop and Score, bringing the unique dessert to Cedar Park. Their ice cream is made using a patented French Pot freezer process, which creates an incredibly rich, smooth, and creamy texture.

Scoop and Score offers classic favorites like mint chocolate chip and cookies and cream, as well as unique flavors like black raspberry chocolate chip. The parlor also features ice cream floats, milkshakes, espresso shakes, and affogatos with a shot of Cuvée espresso.

For customers with dietary restrictions, the parlor offers gluten-free and dairy-free options. Additionally, Scoop and Score offers catering for events around the Austin area, such as workplace celebrations, weddings, and other gatherings.

The owners of Scoop and Score hope to become a destination brand and a leader in its field. They expressed their gratitude to the Cedar Park community for supporting them in ways they could not have imagined.
