Residents of Houston’s Heights neighborhood will soon have a new dining option as Jersey Mike’s prepares to open a new location in the Heights Marketplace. According to a project filing by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the sandwich chain will undertake a tenant finish-out of a second-generation retail strip center. This project will involve demolition throughout the space, installation of new kitchen equipment, and updates to interior walls and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
The renovation of the 1,256-square-foot sandwich shop is estimated to cost approximately $300,000. Construction is scheduled to commence on July 13 and is expected to be completed by early September, bringing a fresh dining experience to the local community.
