Roundabout Construction Begins at Northeast 182nd and Risto Road

Clark County is set to enhance traffic flow and safety by replacing the intersection at Northeast 182nd Avenue and Risto Road with a new single-lane roundabout. Construction is scheduled to begin on June 22, marking a significant step in local infrastructure improvement.

Project Details and Road Closures

The project includes not only the roundabout but also the reduction of slopes at Northeast 199th Street, Northeast Risto Road, and Northeast 176th Avenue. Additionally, Northeast 182nd Avenue will undergo resurfacing from Northeast 167th Avenue to the north side of the Salmon Creek Bridge. These enhancements aim to provide smoother and safer travel for residents and commuters.

As part of the construction process, road closures will be implemented. Starting June 22, Northeast Risto Road will be closed between Northeast 176th and Northeast 182nd Avenues. Similarly, Northeast 182nd Avenue will be closed between Northeast Risto Road and a point approximately a tenth of a mile south where the road crosses Salmon Creek. Clark County Public Works is actively communicating with local residents to ensure access to their properties during these closures.
