Hartford Taste Festival Returns to Support Local Families

The vibrant Hartford Taste festival is making its return this weekend, transforming Pratt and Trumbull Streets into a lively hub of food, music, and art. This annual event, now in its fifth year, brings together over two dozen restaurants and more than 20 small businesses, all contributing to a cause that resonates deeply with the community.

Supporting Families Through Community Engagement

Proceeds from the festival will benefit Connecticut Foodshare, an organization dedicated to feeding families across the state. Jason Jakubowski, President & CEO of CT Foodshare, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This is one of our favorite weekends of the year. You get to enjoy good people, good food, and good drink, all while supporting a great cause. It just warms my heart.”

Since its inception, Hartford Taste has raised over $100,000 for CT Foodshare, thanks to the generous support of sponsors and community members. The festival not only highlights the culinary and artistic talents of Hartford but also strengthens the bonds within the community by supporting those in need.
