Georgetown, TX – Antioch Georgetown is set to celebrate the grand opening of its second worship campus on November 22, according to Associate Pastor Stephen Castleberry. The new southeast location, situated off State Highway 130, will join the church’s downtown sanctuary at 111 W. 10th St., giving congregants more convenient options for attending services.
Two New Service Dates
Castleberry announced that the new campus will host two inaugural services on November 22 and November 29. After those dates, both the downtown and southeast sites will begin offering live preaching and worship each Sunday starting December 6, pending final construction and permitting approvals.
Why a Second Campus?
Rather than constructing a single, larger building, Antioch Georgetown chose to expand to a second site so that members can worship closer to home. “For us, opening a second location has never been about a building,” Castleberry said. “It’s about people. Georgetown is growing, and we want to make it easier for more of our neighbors to find community, build meaningful relationships, and experience the life‑changing hope of Jesus Christ.”
Church Roots and Vision
Antioch was planted in 2017 by a group of 25 adults and children who moved from Central Arkansas, seeking to establish a Christ‑centered community in Georgetown. The church’s services feature contemporary worship music and practical biblical teaching presented in a relaxed atmosphere. Programs for children and teens, small‑group gatherings, and life‑stage courses are also offered to support families at every stage of life.
Invitation to the Community
Castleberry extended a warm invitation to residents throughout Georgetown and surrounding areas, encouraging them to visit the new campus, meet new friends, and discover what Antioch stands for. “We would love to invite our neighbors throughout Georgetown and the surrounding communities to come visit, meet some new friends, and see what Antioch is all about,” he said.
Looking Ahead
The church’s leadership emphasized that the timeline for full operations at both locations depends on construction progress and city permitting. Nonetheless, the congregation remains optimistic that the new southeast campus will soon become a vibrant hub for worship, fellowship, and service in the growing Georgetown community.
