This direct line is designed to eliminate unnecessary delays by bypassing additional transfers or intermediary steps, ensuring that reports reach investigators more swiftly.

In addition to the hotline, the New Mexico Health Care Authority has announced that online reports submitted through their website will also be directly routed to the Incident Management Bureau starting July 1.
