Aeon will become the first tenant of the Cedar Tech I development, located at 2305 Scottsdale Drive. The company plans to establish its headquarters and manufacturing facility in a 48,000-square-foot space. In return for the city’s investment, Aeon is committed to creating 135 jobs with a combined annual payroll of approximately $16.5 million by the end of 2029. Additionally, the company will invest $8.5 million locally through facility development and equipment purchases.
The agreement also stipulates that Aeon must generate increasing sales tax revenue, with a minimum of $220,816 annually by 2032. The city anticipates a 17.9% return on its investment over a payback period of 5.7 years, according to city documents.
