Downtown Davenport is set to become a sparkling holiday destination when the RiverCenter opens its doors for the 41st annual QC Arts Festival of Trees. Running from Nov. 21 through Nov. 29, the event promises a week of seasonal décor, live performances, and activities designed for families and the broader community.
What to Expect
Visitors will wander through a “Winter Wonderland” that includes designer holiday displays, a whimsical Gingerbread Village, a Petite Forest, and the Festival Express Train. All displays are available for mobile bidding, allowing guests to place bids either on‑site at the RiverCenter or from the comfort of their homes.
New Additions This Year
Organizers have added a special Movie Night featuring the classic comedy National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. A dedicated kids’ activity area will be free for anyone who purchases a general admission ticket, giving families more reasons to gather and celebrate together.
Holiday Parade Highlights
At 10 a.m. on Nov. 21, the Festival of Trees Holiday Parade will roll through downtown, showcasing giant helium balloons, festive floats, marching bands, dance groups, and a visit from Santa Claus. KWQC’s Marcia Lense will serve as the grand marshal, adding a local touch to the celebration. The parade will be broadcast on KWQC 6.1 and streamed live on KWQC+ for those unable to attend in person.
