McKenzie Dog Park in Casper to Close Temporarily for Maintenance

Residents of Casper, Wyoming, should note that McKenzie Dog Park will be temporarily closed on Friday, June 5, to allow for necessary maintenance work. The City of Casper announced that the park, located at 1691 Bryan Stock Trail, will be inaccessible from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. as crews conduct weed maintenance.

Alternative Options for Dog Owners

During the closure, dog owners are encouraged to use Morad Park, another off-leash area located at 2800 Wyoming Blvd. This alternative provides a convenient option for those looking to exercise their pets while McKenzie Dog Park undergoes maintenance.

Parks Supervisor Katy Hallock emphasized the importance of maintaining the park’s grounds to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors. Regular maintenance helps keep the park clean and accessible, supporting the community’s recreational needs.

The City of Casper appreciates the understanding and cooperation of residents as they work to maintain the quality of local parks. For more information on park facilities and updates, residents can visit the city’s official website or contact the Parks Department directly.
