Tri Pointe Homes has initiated a significant residential development in Buda, Texas, spanning 131 acres. The project, named Turner’s Crossing, features modern single-family homes designed to cater to a variety of buyers seeking proximity to Austin. The development offers two collections of homes: The Park Collection and The Terrace Collection. The Park Collection homes are built on 50-foot lots, with floor plans ranging from 2,200 to 3,000 square feet, while The Terrace Collection offers homes on 40-foot lots, with sizes between 1,500 and 2,500 square feet.
Community Features and Amenities
The development promises a high quality of life with its community amenities, including a resort-style pool, playground, sports and pickleball courts, trails, and open green spaces. Tri Pointe Homes emphasizes a ‘premium lifestyle brand,’ focusing on the functionality and design of the homes to meet modern buyers’ needs. Features such as natural light, flexible indoor-outdoor spaces, and state-of-the-art kitchens are highlighted.
According to Ashlee Roeder, Tri Pointe Homes’ director of community experience, the company is committed to providing homes that offer both square footage and a sense of daily comfort and functionality. The development aims to attract buyers looking for attainable housing options with easy access to Austin.
Development Timeline and Future Plans
The first phase of construction has begun, with homes priced starting in the $330,000s. Two model homes are currently available for tours. The Turner’s Crossing North section opened in January 2022, with construction completed by summer 2025. The South section is expected to follow a similar timeline, with completion anticipated in about three and a half years. An annual Homeowners Association fee of $660 will be charged to maintain the amenities.
Tri Pointe Homes plans to deliver an additional 43 homesites in Phase 2 later this summer, continuing its commitment to providing quality housing in the Buda area. More information about Turner’s Crossing South is available for interested buyers.
