Leander Welcomes New Businesses and Developments This June

Leander, Texas, is experiencing a vibrant surge of new businesses and developments this June, offering residents fresh options for dining, fitness, and entertainment. Among the new arrivals is Roger Beasley Mazda, which opened its doors on May 1. This dealership, located at 9480 183A Toll, is the fourth in the Roger Beasley Mazda Group, providing both new Mazda vehicles and a variety of used cars, along with maintenance services.

Dining and Entertainment

Food enthusiasts can now enjoy a variety of Asian dishes at Little Beijing, which began serving the Cedar Park-Leander area on April 23. Located at 12621 W. Hero Way, the restaurant offers takeout and delivery options. For dessert lovers, Aspen Creamery has opened at 2082 N. US 183, serving homemade waffle cones, milkshakes, and unique treats like the Dubai viral sundae.

Leo’s FunZone, a locally owned play space and toy store, opened on May 23 at 601 Crystal Falls Parkway. It offers a range of crafts, DIY projects, and play areas for children of different age groups, emphasizing natural materials in its toy selection.

Fitness and Recreation

Fitness enthusiasts have new options with the opening of a USA Ninja Challenge gym at 1501 Leander Drive on May 12. This facility provides children with classes that incorporate gymnastics, cross-training, and climbing skills. Additionally, Crunch Fitness is set to open a 45,000-square-foot gym this fall at the intersection of Hero Way and US 183, featuring amenities like hot yoga and child care.

Upcoming Developments

Several new projects are on the horizon, including a new location for Salt Traders Coastal Cooking and Day Maker Half Day Cafe, both part of a development along the Cedar Park-Leander border. Construction for these projects is expected to begin in September and conclude by June 2027.

These new businesses and developments not only enhance the local economy but also provide residents with more choices and opportunities to engage with their community.
