Before moving to Philadelphia, Eugene Horsch and his father Raymond “RC” Horsch lived in a quiet subdivision in Chalfont, Bucks County. Long‑time residents there recalled the family with unease. “It’s always been quiet all the years I’ve lived here,” said neighbor Kimberly Rissinger, who added that Raymond would often leave his house late at night, bringing women back with him.
“He would come out in his Jeep, bring people in and out; he was picking up women in the city and bringing them home,” Rissinger said. Another neighbor, Greg Rissinger, remembered the younger Eugene as a child who was called the “porn‑o” man by other kids and warned to stay away.
Criminal history and prior police action
Raymond Horsch has a documented criminal record. In 2009, Chalfont police discovered a marijuana‑growing operation in the basement of the Horsch home, seizing more than 200 plants and arresting him. “I remember that day well. Cops came in; it was cops everywhere; it was a mess,” recalled Rissinger.
Raymond later described himself in a self‑published book as an “artist, filmmaker, porn performer, a drug smuggler, and fugitive,” further underscoring the community’s concerns.
