Ohio Mother of Three Missing After Visit to Jacksonville

Breanna Andrews, a 39-year-old mother of three from Ohio, has gone missing after a visit to Jacksonville, Florida, where her children reside with their father. Andrews was last seen on May 19 at a bus stop on Forsyth Street, wearing a blue tank top and black leggings, and carrying two duffel bags. She was expected to board a Greyhound bus back to Ohio on May 21, but it remains unclear if she ever did.

Family’s Concerns

Her disappearance has deeply worried her family, who describe her absence as out of character. Her boyfriend reported her missing to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office after his calls to her phone went unanswered. Bridgette Ricco, Andrews’ sister, expressed her fears, stating, “I just really hope that nobody has done anything to my sister. We’ve never gone this long without hearing from her.”

Despite the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office indicating that Andrews may have left voluntarily and that foul play is not suspected, Ricco remains unconvinced. “If my sister was leaving by choice, I don’t think she would not say anything to absolutely anyone,” she said. Ricco is determined to find her sister, emphasizing, “She will be found. We all want her to come home. We love her. We miss her. And we’ll do anything to get her back home.”

Community Involvement

The family is appealing to the community for help in locating Andrews. They urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500. Ricco highlighted the support they have received from friends and family, both locally and globally, in spreading the word about Andrews’ disappearance. “We are lucky to have a good group of friends and family and also friends all over Florida and in the world sharing the post around,” she said. “We don’t know where she is. She could be anywhere, so please keep sharing.”
