Alyson Spery Seeks Full Term on Jackson Town Council

Alyson Spery, a dedicated member of the Jackson, Wyoming community, has announced her candidacy for a full four-year term on the Town Council. Spery, who was appointed to the council last year to fill a vacancy, is eager to continue serving the residents of Jackson.

Commitment to Community

With two decades of experience living in Jackson, Spery has worn many hats, including those of a ski instructor, social worker, and media producer. Her diverse background has equipped her with a unique perspective on the needs and aspirations of the community. During her time on the council, she has focused on understanding complex issues such as the Comprehensive Plan and land development regulations, ensuring she contributes effectively to policy-making.

Spery’s campaign is built on a foundation of gratitude and a desire to give back to the community that has supported her. She expressed her appreciation, saying, “I’m grateful to our community for investing in me, and I feel a deep sense of gratitude and purpose to put that investment to good use.”

Focus on Local Issues

If elected, Spery plans to address several key issues facing Jackson. Her priorities include improving affordability for the 90 Virginian Lane development and advancing workforce housing initiatives. She also aims to update the town’s land development regulations, enhance traffic and transportation systems, and develop a strategic budget for the town.

Spery is committed to ensuring that local government functions effectively for all residents. “I love Jackson, and our community is so important to me,” she stated. “With the voters’ support, I will continue ensuring our local government works well for all of us.”

As the election approaches, Spery hopes to earn the trust and support of Jackson’s voters, allowing her to continue her work in shaping a prosperous future for the town.
