The meeting, which began at 6:10 p.m. and ended at 7:35 p.m., included discussions on various topics such as housing, streets and transportation, engaging with city services, neighborly relations, and food access and affordability.
One attendee asked about safety concerns, referencing recent shootings in the community, including a bullet that came through her bedroom window. Shah expressed sympathy and suggested continuing the discussion after the group exercise.
Residents were asked to split into groups to discuss one of the five topics, with Shah’s staff members joining each group to facilitate the discussions.
