A bear encounter has closed the History Trail at Teton Pass in Wyoming. According to the Bridger-Teton National Forest, the closure is due to an ongoing investigation of a human and bear encounter.
A woman encountered a mother bear and cub, suffered minor injuries, and was able to self-transport to the hospital. The Jackson Hole News&Guide reported the incident.
