A surveillance video captured the moments when a porch pirate stole what a woman said were back-to-school supplies packages for her little sister in a building near Northwest 35th Street and Biscayne Boulevard in Miami.
The incident happened on Friday. In the video, the alleged thief was seen picking up a box, walking through a hallway, getting into a car and driving away.
The woman said it’s frustrating that her sister lost these items. “I’m frustrated because, at least be considerate of what season it is, it’s back-to-school, and you’re just doing it,” she said. “He probably has no kids, I don’t know, but that’s not even the point. They’re kids, and yeah, I’m really frustrated.”
