A person is dead after a FedEx semi crashed into a wall on the I-65 S ramp to I-264 E/Watterson Expressway (exit 131A) in Louisville. The semi crashed around 5 a.m. Thursday.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), the semi was headed northbound on the ramp when it missed the curve, crossing into the southbound ramp and hitting a rock wall head-on. LMPD said someone, a male, is dead, and they’re checking to see if anyone else was inside.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating. Traffic in the area could be shut down for another two or three hours.
