Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that Ryan Gosling will play Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the San Diego Comic-Con.
Ghost Rider’s History
Ghost Rider first appeared in Marvel comic books in 1967 as a western hero, but gained popularity in 1972 as the superhero identity of Johnny Blaze, who makes a pact with Satan to protect someone he loves.
Ryan Gosling expressed his enthusiasm for playing Ghost Rider, stating he had wanted to play the role for a long time. Director Shawn Levy, who worked with Gosling on the upcoming movie ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’, will direct the Ghost Rider film.
