Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana has officially launched Legacy Quest, a free, interactive scavenger hunt at JA Legacy Park, located at 550 E. Wallen Road in Fort Wayne.
Exploring Local History and Entrepreneurship
The experience combines technology, local history, and entrepreneurship into a self-guided adventure. Visitors use their smartphones to scan QR codes placed throughout the park, featuring clues, artwork, and interactive content highlighting the stories of Fort Wayne entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community visionaries whose ideas helped shape Northeast Indiana.
As participants move through the course, they’ll solve challenges and answer questions while learning about innovation, leadership, and the impact local business leaders have had on the community. Junior Achievement says Legacy Quest was designed to inspire young people by showcasing hometown success stories while promoting entrepreneurship, leadership, and financial literacy.
The inaugural summer program includes weekly themed challenges and prizes, such as financial literacy quizzes, gift card giveaways, and a $500 cash grand prize. Special community events throughout the summer also feature food trucks, Kona Ice, and family-friendly activities.
