A man riding a motorcycle in Osceola County crashed Saturday morning and later died, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Bill Beck Boulevard, approaching Line Drive, troopers said. The man was riding a motorcycle southbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway to the left. The motorcycle struck a curb and a utility pole as a result.
The man was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, troopers said, adding he was wearing a helmet during the crash. Further details of the man’s identity are pending word from the medical examiner’s office, according to the report. FHP is still investigating.
