Companies worldwide, including those in the US, are grappling with a surge in AI-driven cyberattacks and ransomware that steal sensitive data and disrupt operations. The White House has launched a coordination group to share information on cybersecurity vulnerabilities and coordinate responses.
Affected Companies
A number of US companies have reported or been affected by cyber incidents this year, including Nike, Bumble, Wynn Resorts, Stryker, Crunchyroll, Hasbro, OpenAI, Take-Two Interactive, West Pharmaceutical Services, Instructure/Canvas, Blank Rome, Carnival, Novo Nordisk, iRhythm Holdings, AdaptHealth, and Fortinet.
