This weekend in Denver is full of concerts and celebrations. Tyler Childers will perform at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre and Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre will host The String Cheese Incident and Maren Morris. Mission Ballroom also has concerts this weekend.
Local Festivals
A new festival called Golden Days will take place in Golden as a way to celebrate the city’s beer, food and culture. And Tennyson Street Fair is back this weekend, too! Other happenings include an Ice Cream Social at Denver Book Society and a yoga class and painting workshop at The Ramble Hotel.
Denver Summit FC plays its first game at its new Centennial Stadium, which was estimated to cost $20 million to $25 million. The team will be playing at the stadium for the next couple of years.
Community Events
The city will also host various community events, including the Lake Dillon Arts Festival, Cherry Creek North Sidewalk Sale, and the Denver Postcard & Paper Show. The Lavender Festival will take place at the Denver Botanic Gardens – Chatfield Farms.
For kids and families, there are several events, including Storytime in the Park, Learning Lab: Breakdance, and Kids Cooking Workshop. The Great Dino Rodeo With Magic Dave will take place at the Central Library.
