The Athletics have made several roster moves ahead of their return from the All-Star break. The team designated veteran pitcher Aaron Civale for assignment and selected right-handed reliever Yunior Tur to the major league roster. Civale, 31, signed with the Athletics in February and started the season strong but struggled in recent starts.

Roster Moves

The Athletics are also calling up prospect Tommy White, who will make his major league debut this weekend. White, 23, was the 40th overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft and has 24 home runs in 194 minor league games. The team also called up left-hander Brady Basso and utility player Donovan Walton, while optioning catcher Brian Serven, first baseman Joey Meneses, and right-hander Mason Barnett to Las Vegas.
