Family members of missing Fort Bragg soldier Sayveon Anderson are coming to North Carolina to help in the search efforts. They will be meeting at Veterans Park in Fayetteville Sunday afternoon.

Anderson was reported absent without leave on July 1. He was last seen by his wife at home in Fayetteville on June 23. Anderson left home with other soldiers, and she believes he was heading back to Fort Bragg.
On June 25, Anderson was arrested at the Comfort Inn and charged with trespassing. He posted $5,000 bond. His commanding officer told his wife he was last seen on base around 6 a.m. on June 29.
Anderson is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 260 pounds. He has a chipped front tooth, a scar on his left arm, tattoos behind both ears, and a tattoo on his upper left arm.
Fort Bragg has released a statement saying the 3rd Corps Sustainment Command is working in coordination with local law enforcement agencies and the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to locate Spc. Sayveon Anderson and ensure his safe return.
