Johnson County’s Commissioners considered a Wyoming Department of Family Services Community Juvenile Services Board grant agreement for the next two years during their recent regular meeting. County Attorney Tucker Ruby explained more about the grant and what it will be used for. Funding from this grant, according to Ruby, offers support for the county’s mentor program.
The grant provides $57,000 for two years, which is an increase from the usual $50,000. The contract and terms have not changed, but there are some new deliverables in the attachments. The grant will allow the county to run its mentor program and help it be successful, which will in turn help the members of the community that need it.
