Two hockey players with local ties have been selected to participate in the 2026 Hlinka Gretzky Cup Selection Camp, which will take place July 23-27, at TRIA Rink in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Caleb Deanovic, from Fond du Lac, and Gunnar Conboy, of Lakeville, Minnesota, who played for the Green Bay Gamblers, are among those chosen to attend the camp.
Conboy is a 6-4 forward, while Deanovic is a 6-0 defenseman. Those selected from the Hlinka Camp will play for the 2026 U.S. Under-18 Men’s Select Team during the 2026 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, August 3-8, in Edmonton, Alberta.
