The Villages of Indiana, a nonprofit that supports foster children across the state, is seeking help buying school supplies for children in its network. The organization is hosting its annual Back-to-School Donation Drive from July 6-31.
How to Donate
To support Indy kids in foster care, donors can shop The Villages’ Amazon Wishlist, which includes items such as composition notebooks, pencil pouches, and backpacks. At checkout, supporters can select to have the items shipped to The Villages’ Indianapolis location, and the nonprofit will ensure the supplies are delivered to families.
The Villages served 475 children in foster care and 617 youth who had aged out of the system in 2015. By donating to the Back-to-School Donation Drive, you can help make a difference in the lives of these children.
