Texarkana has a variety of events scheduled for the upcoming weeks. The Texarkana Public Library will host its second annual book-themed Rap Battle on July 18. Young rappers 14 and under are invited to perform, with special guest Mr. Sixteen present and catering by ShellShocked.
Events
ColorHype TXK will host Paint and Sip events, including ‘Lucky Summer’ on July 21, ‘Firefly Wishes’ on July 28, and ‘Crimson Bloom’ on August 4, all at Redbone Magic Brewing. Tickets are $40.
In Love and Rich & Life Up Rose City will present ‘Field Day 2026’ on July 25 at Terry Lee Rogers Recreational Center. The event will feature sack races, relay races, tug of war, kickball, water balloon fights, vendors, food trucks, and more. Admission is free, with donations accepted.
Summer Camps
The Museum of Regional History will present ‘History Playhouse’ for children ages 5-12, from June 30 through July 21 at the Ace of Clubs House. The Crafty Nook Craft Cafe will have a Kids Craft Kamp from July 17 through July 19. The Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center has Summer Space Camp from July 24.
Music
Fat Jack’s will have Lee Mathis & Brutally Handsome on Friday and White Trash Wannabees on Saturday. Twisted Fork Grill & Bar will have David Howe on Friday. La Fogata will have Mobetta Band at 7 p.m. Friday and Jack Dylan at 7 p.m. Saturday.
