Sans Market, a zero-waste store, has opened a pop-up location in Safety Harbor. The store, which offers natural personal care items and bulk products, aims to help customers live without harmful toxics and excess packaging.
Expansion into Pinellas County
The new location is the company’s second in Pinellas County, with the first being on Central Avenue in St. Petersburg. Manager Vanessa Moore explained that the expansion was a logical next step for the company, which has been discussing a possible second location for years.
The pop-up store shares a storefront with First Quality Sausage, a business owned by the mother of Sans Market’s owner, Eniko Olah. Moore stated that the pop-up made sense as it allows the company to tap into the north Pinellas community and attract customers who may not regularly visit the downtown St. Petersburg location.
The Safety Harbor location features many customer favorite and best-seller items, including laundry detergent, body wash, and food in bulk. Customers can also refill their product containers, reducing the need for packaging.
