A couple’s engagement story is making headlines after the man proposed to his girlfriend during a rescue on Mt. Kearsarge in New Hampshire. Alexis Hardy and her hiking partner, Tim Dupere, were on the mountain when Hardy got injured. New Hampshire Fish and Game received a call just before noon on Saturday about the injured hiker, and rescuers were sent to the scene.

The Proposal

Once the rescuers reached Hardy and Dupere, Dupere decided he didn’t want his special plan to go to waste. He proposed to Hardy while she was being rescued, and she said yes!
