Marshfield Clinic is providing free health screenings at the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, taking place from July 14-16 at Redetzke’s No Joke Dairy Farm in Stratford, Wisconsin. The screenings are part of a broader effort to bring accessible, preventive healthcare directly to rural communities.
Services Offered
The screenings will include high blood pressure checks, hearing loss tests, skin cancer risk assessments, and proper respirator fit testing. These services play a critical role in early detection and prevention, especially in agricultural communities where individuals often delay care due to time constraints or distance from providers.
According to Dr. Jennifer Meece, senior vice president and research scientific officer at Sanford Research, ‘Preventive care is one of the most powerful tools we have to improve long-term health outcomes.’ The clinic aims to remove barriers and make it easier for individuals to take that first step towards prioritizing their health.
Live demonstrations will take place in the FRESH area, including a Life Link III Helicopter Landing Demo. Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of as many screenings as they would like during the event, with no appointments necessary.
