Sen Lindsey Graham Passes Away At 71

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, has passed away at the age of 71. His office has confirmed that the senator died after a brief and sudden illness.

Condolences Pour In

President Trump is paying his respects to the late Senator, calling him “one of the greatest people and Senators I have ever known” and “a true American Patriot.” Graham had just returned from a trip to Ukraine, where he met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Republican senator had served in the House of Representatives before being elected to the Senate in 2003 and was seeking re-election in the November midterms. Funeral arrangements will be announced in the coming days.
