A driver who experienced a medical emergency drove into a Planet Fitness gym in Lake Elsinore on Monday, Riverside County Cal Fire said.
The crash was reported at about 12:30 p.m. at the gym on Mission Trail, authorities said. Video from the scene showed two vehicles, both with heavy damage to their tails, outside on the side of the gym.
As a result of the crash, the driver of the vehicle that crashed was hospitalized. It’s unclear what medical emergency they experienced that caused the crash. The severity of their injuries associated with the crash is not clear.
The gym remained open after the incident.
