Starting Wednesday, Summit Utilities will begin utility improvements in the Northridge neighborhood of Texarkana, Texas. This project will consist of replacing existing natural gas mains throughout the area, according to a City Hall news release.
Most of the work will be completed using a directional boring method to minimize impacts to streets, driveways and landscaping. Any areas disturbed during construction will be restored to the same or better condition upon completion of the work.
Construction is expected to take approximately six months to complete and will be performed by Wayne Holden Co., with a Summit Utilities inspector on site throughout the project. For questions or concerns, contact the Summit Utilities inspector at 870-409-3096 or the City of Texarkana Public Works Department at 903-798-3948.
