Boise rang in the nation’s 250th birthday in style this Fourth of July weekend, drawing crowds to downtown streets and Ann Morrison Park for a celebration that added a brand-new twist to a beloved local tradition.
The Idaho 4th of July Parade filled downtown Boise on Independence Day, bringing together residents and visitors for one of the Treasure Valley’s most cherished annual events, according to KBOI.
As evening fell, the festivities moved to Ann Morrison Park, where Boise marked the America 250 milestone with a dazzling fireworks display — and, for the very first time, a drone show. KTVB reported that the drone show was a first-ever addition to Boise’s Fourth of July celebration, giving attendees a memorable new spectacle alongside the traditional fireworks.
KTVB also captured the moment, noting that Idahoans across the Treasure Valley joined in America 250 festivities throughout the holiday weekend. It was a weekend that reminded the community just how much Boise loves coming together to celebrate.
