An investigation is underway after one man was found dead and another injured following a reported disturbance at a home in Peterborough, New Hampshire, Sunday night.

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office confirmed it is investigating an untimely death. The State Police major crime unit is assisting. Local law enforcement responded around 8:30 p.m. to a Grove Street residence for a report of a disturbance and arrived on scene to find a man dead in the driveway with what appeared to be gunshot injuries, officials said.
A man who lives at the home was also located suffering from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds, officials added. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The investigation so far shows this incident appears to have involved an interaction between the two men, and there is no known threat to the public at this time.
