Shots Fired At Urbandale S July 4 Celebration

Urbandale police are investigating after shots were fired during the city’s Fourth of July celebration at Lion’s Park on Saturday night.

According to the Urbandale Police Department, officers responded to the park at about 10:22 p.m. on July 4 after receiving reports of gunfire. Officers who were already nearby quickly secured the area and launched an investigation.

Police said no injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has photos or video from the area to contact the Urbandale Police Department.
