A new burger concept, Haddaburger, has officially opened in Temple Terrace, Florida, with a unique twist on traditional smash burgers. The restaurant’s co-owner, Hassan Diab, explained that they wanted to provide a high-quality alternative to fast-food options in the area.
The Concept
Diab shared that the concept of Haddaburger is to create a better product than chain restaurant options. The menu is a mix of Oklahoma-style burgers and classic smash burgers, with a twist. The burgers are not smashed all the way, keeping a bit of thickness to allow the beef to be tasted, while still getting a crust on the burger.
Everything except for the bread is prepared in-house from scratch. The restaurant features a variety of unique sauces, including a smoky special sauce, a lemony ‘Hadda Heat’ utilizing Tunisian harissa, and a herb-heavy ranch. The sauces are balanced out with the toppings used on the burgers.
Haddaburger offers sides like fried pickles, onion rings, Nashville mozzarella logs, and milkshakes. The restaurant is located at 8932 Bertha Palmer Boulevard in Temple Terrace.
