Several local students have recently graduated from universities in the region. The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas, held commencement exercises for spring 2026, with area graduates including Kailee Allen of Bradley, Arkansas, and Colden Applegate of Lewisville, Arkansas.

University of Arkansas Graduates

Other University of Arkansas graduates from the area include Madison Bagley of De Queen, Arkansas, Kadie Bowman of Texarkana, and Ben Bricker of Texarkana. Mika Brown of Hope, Arkansas, and Meredith Craig of Texarkana also received degrees.

Additional graduates from the University of Arkansas include Jordan Crouch of Texarkana, Carlie Cunningham of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Thomas Curry of Texarkana. Emily Daffern of DeKalb, Texas, and Camille Dale of Texarkana also graduated.

Sam Houston State University Graduates

Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas, also held commencement exercises for spring 2026. Area graduates include Sabrina Sartor of Bivins, Texas, and Kierra Nevill of New Boston, Texas.

In addition to these graduates, several area students were named to the Dean’s Honor Roll and President’s List at Sam Houston State University. These students include Kadynce Matthew of Lone Star, Texas, and Laurel Moore of Queen City, Texas.
