Jackson Nonprofit Launches School Supply Drive

One22 Resource Center in Jackson, Wyoming, has launched its annual back-to-school supply drive to ensure local students have the necessary materials to succeed. The nonprofit aims to fulfill over 250 requests for assistance and has created a registry through Target featuring items from the Teton County School District’s classroom supply lists.

How to Help

Community members can purchase supplies online through the registry until August 12 and have them shipped directly to One22. Alternatively, they can shop in person using the list on One22’s website and drop off donations at designated collection bins. An in-person shopping event will be held at Target on July 15, offering a 5% discount to shoppers.

New, unused school supply donations can be dropped off at bins located at the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole, Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church, St. John’s Episcopal Church, and One22 Resource Center. The requested supplies include backpacks, pencils, markers, glue sticks, and other essential items.

One22 Director of Community Engagement Seadar Rose Davis emphasized the importance of providing students with the necessary supplies, stating, ‘When kids walk into school with the supplies they need, they walk in ready to learn and belong.’ The organization’s goal is to provide every student with an equal opportunity to thrive.

In addition to the school supply drive, One22 has been selected as a Target Circle Giving Campaign nonprofit partner from July 1 to September 30. Target shoppers can direct the store’s community giving funds to One22 through their Target Circle account, supporting programs and services in the community.
