Dairy producers will gather for the 2026 Carbon, Crops + Cows program on July 28 and 30 to learn about sustainability metrics and management practices. The program, presented by Professional Dairy Producers (PDP), will feature interactive presentations and discussions on cropping practices, feed strategies, manure management, and energy use.
Program Details
Workshops will be held at Mystic Valley Dairy LLC in Sauk City, Wis., and Grass Ridge Farm LLC in Pittsville, Wis. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m., with the program running from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lunch and program materials will be provided.
According to Paul Lippert, PDP board president, “Sustainability is at the heart of successful dairy businesses, and we are always looking for ways to be more efficient, productive, and resourceful.” The program aims to provide dairy producers with the tools and knowledge to understand and improve their sustainability and carbon scores.
