Charlie Woods, the son of golf legend Tiger Woods, finished poorly and missed the cut at the North & South Men’s Amateur tournament at Pinehurst.
Woods, a rising senior at Florida’s The Benjamin School, was one shot below the projected cut line with four holes remaining in the second round Wednesday. However, he finished with three bogeys and a triple bogey to fall six shots short of advancing to match play on Thursday.
The top 31 players made the cut. Woods, 17, has committed to play at Florida State as part of the 2027 recruiting class and is currently ranked No. 172 in the Rolex American Junior Golf Association rankings.
