Holon, a Germany-based manufacturer, still intends to break ground on its manufacturing facility in Jacksonville in 2026, according to records provided to the Jacksonville Daily Record.
Investment and Facility
The company plans to make a $100 million investment in Jacksonville and received a one-year extension to its economic development agreement with the city.
In October 2025, Holon and the Jacksonville Transportation Authority announced plans for the manufacturer to build a production facility at the Eastport Exchange industrial park, where Holon will manufacture vehicles for JTA’s autonomous Ultimate Urban Circulator, or U2C, public transportation system and for other customers.
