The crisp pattern that began over the past weekend is gradually changing in Bend, Oregon. The deep cool pocket of air that provided high elevation snow has moved well east. A slow progressing warm up will begin today, with highs on Wednesday expected to top out in the middle 70s.
Warming Trend Ahead
Thursday will begin a lengthy run of days in the 80s, with normal high temperatures for the first part of July expected to be reached. The flow of air will be coming in from the west northwest, bringing warmer conditions and mostly sunny skies.
Highs on Friday will hit the middle 80s, followed by upper 80s over the weekend. The long holiday weekend is not expected to be hampered by any rain, although some soaking rain would be beneficial this time of year. The dry and warmer pattern will remain into next week, with Sunday and Monday having a chance to breach the 90-degree mark.
