Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is urging families to get outdoors and experience the state’s natural beauty. Reynolds and her family recently visited the Jens Jensen Prairie Landscape Park and Museum of Danish America in Elk Horn, which features a new 22-foot-tall wooden troll sculpture.
Promoting Iowa’s State Parks
The visit comes after Reynolds signed an executive order creating the Iowa Outdoor Recreation Office, aimed at promoting the state’s state parks and attracting more tourism dollars. Reynolds emphasized the importance of outdoor activities in bringing families together and experiencing all that Iowa has to offer.
