Katy ISD’s board of trustees approved a $102,500 design contract with Stantec Architecture Inc. to create a site plan for possible renovations and expansions at the Complex of Innovation.
Renovation Plans
The contract includes reviewing the Miller Career & Technology Center for the possibility of designing additional CTE program spaces. The district has seen a growing demand for CTE programs and a need to expand the Miller Center.
Additionally, the district approved the construction of a new opportunity awareness center. The timeline for Stantec to submit the site plan is still to be determined.
