The City of St. Petersburg is altering its residential trash and recycling schedules to accommodate the Independence Day holiday timeline. Residents with late-week service will see their pickup dates moved up by a full day.
Holiday Schedule Changes
Regular Monday and Tuesday collections will experience no interruptions. However, households with Thursday service will have their pickup on Wednesday instead, and regular Friday collections will take place on Thursday.
Community members can view the complete list of facility closures online at www.stpete.org/HolidayClosures. The city also recommends downloading the ‘St. Pete Collects’ smartphone application for real-time route updates and automated notifications about local collection days.
