Green Bay, WI, is preparing for its annual Fire Over the Fox celebration on July 4. The event will take place near Leicht Memorial Park and the Main Street Bridge.
Road and River Restrictions
A portion of several streets and locations will be closed on the day of the celebration, with closures beginning in the early morning hours and remaining in effect until after the fireworks. The Green Bay Police Department Marine Unit will also be enforcing a no docking or mooring order in the firework fallout zone from 6 p.m. until the end of the fireworks.
Boaters should be aware that the Marine Unit will temporarily hold back boat traffic between the Bart Starr Memorial Bridge and the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge for the Waterboard Warriors. There are two planned ski shows in front of the City Deck, and boats will be allowed to pass through during brief intermissions.
